The best beaches in Alanya: sand or pebbles

The best beaches in Alanya: sand or pebbles

Cleopatra

The famous Cleopatra Beach stretches for two kilometers from the monument to Alaeddin Keykubat to the Damlatas Cave. You can get there by bus for 36 rubles, by minibus for 24 rubles for cash and non-cash payments. From the most remote housing in the city, you won’t have to walk more than one kilometer to Cleopatra Beach.

Sea water is clear. There are discounts when renting beach equipment, which are indicated right there on the signs. You can buy a beach umbrella in the store, it costs 420-480 rubles, and relax on a towel. The entrance to the sea is steep, which is not very convenient for swimming with small children. The beach is equipped with free showers and changing cabins; toilets are paid - from 24 to 48 rubles. Entrances to the territory are numbered, there are no underground passages.

A ship departs from the pier every day at 10 o'clock, where you can take a boat trip. The price of this trip includes soft drinks. A beautiful promenade with palm trees, bicycle paths, benches for relaxation and playgrounds stretches along the sea. In the western part there is a shady park.

Damlatas

The sand is light, clean, with small pebbles, and fishing boats swim in the sea in the morning. There are many water activities here, for example, you can go windsurfing, ride a catamaran, ride a water scooter, fly behind a boat on a parachute or snorkel. There is a rental point for equipment and courts for volleyball and tennis. There is a cafe nearby that serves delicious ice cream.

Near the beach there is a park, a medieval fortress reached by a cable car, and the Damlatas Cave with many colorful stalactites. It is easy to breathe inside and very humid, so the body quickly becomes covered in sweat. The healthy air is saturated with carbon dioxide, which is why people suffering from asthma and other pulmonary diseases come here.

Portal

Portakal Beach is located in the suburban area of Alanya, but is considered one of the city beaches. Like many beaches in Turkey, Portakal has a blue flag - evidence of the ideal cleanliness and well-groomed sandy coast. Despite the fact that the beach is surrounded by impressive rocks, at the height of the tourist season it is always quite windy here, which made it possible to attract the main category of tourists - fans of windsurfing.

The length of the beach is only one kilometer, the access is traditional for all beaches in Turkey - it is free, but the rental of all inventory and equipment costs a certain amount. There are no luxury hotels here, so rental prices will not be inflated.

Ulash

5 km from Alanya there is a secluded semi-wild Ulash beach, which is in demand among picnic lovers. There are special sites with appropriate attributes along the shore for them. The surrounding landscapes, distinguished by their special color, do not leave anyone indifferent. The sea here is an incredibly beautiful, deep turquoise hue. The rocks that come close to the water look like ships descending from the stocks.

This pebble, paid beach is popular with fans of a quiet, secluded holiday away from city civilization. Sparsely populated areas, unusual infrastructure, and the opportunity to organize a picnic against the backdrop of amazing nature make people travel 5 km by car, bus or bicycle to find themselves in a wonderful corner of the coast. Changing cabins are carved into the rock terraces. Umbrellas, sun loungers, and water sports equipment are also paid here. There is a cafe on the rock where you can climb up the stairs and go down them straight to the water.

Incekum

Incekum is a popular resort on the Mediterranean coast, located 23 km from the large resort of Alanya. Recommended for family holidays, for couples looking for a quiet place. Features of the resort village are a pleasant climate, clean sandy beaches, a safe smooth entrance to the sea, and the presence of a picturesque coniferous forest.

The territory is small, but well-groomed, the infrastructure is constantly being updated, hotels are being renovated and new ones are being built.

The holiday season is from April to October inclusive, with minimal precipitation. In winter, accommodation prices are among the lowest in the region. In the winter months, the air temperature is on average +15+17, the water temperature is about +16 degrees.
