Kestel beaches
Village of Kestel
Kestel is one of the new and dynamically developing coastal areas of Alanya. It is located on the very coast, between the areas of Tosmur and Mahmutlar, a 15-minute drive from the center of Alanya. Kestel is a calm, friendly village that manages to maintain its pleasant provincialism and natural charm.
Several years ago, Kestel began to actively develop. On the first line from the sea, next to plantations and peasant houses, modern residential complexes began to appear. Their peculiarity is that all the houses are low. As a rule, no more than five floors. This is an absolute advantage for those who are tired of multi-storey buildings and prefer to live in more comfortable houses.
Every week in the Kestel area a “spontaneous” market is organized where farmers sell delicious and environmentally friendly fruits and vegetables. Local residents and tourists can enjoy small shops, restaurants and cafes everywhere. The people of Kestel are friendly and welcoming. They are already accustomed to foreigners and treat their new neighbors with respect.
How to get there
From Gazipasa Airport, which is located in Alanya, there is a special bus along the D400 highway; the ride takes only 30 minutes. Drivers only accept Turkish lira as payment for tickets, be careful and exchange money in advance. You can order a taxi or rent a car.
From the airport, which is located in Antalya, you will travel by public transport with two transfers. At the domestic terminal, take bus Havas or No. 202 to the final station in Alanya. On it you change to dolmus to Kestel.
Beach length

The beaches in Kestel are sandy, but there are also pebble areas. They stretch for 3 km along the Mediterranean Sea. Hotels are mostly located on the second line, because the coast and the beach are separated by a highway and an embankment.
Embankment
The embankment is decorated with fountains, gazebos for relaxation and barbecues, playgrounds and sports equipment. Carefully maintained flowering trees, shrubs and flower beds are a delight to the eye. Several years ago, Kestel began to actively develop. On the first line from the sea, next to banana plantations and peasant houses, modern residential complexes began to appear.

Here, just 250 meters from the sea, Myra Park is being built - a modern complex with all the necessary infrastructure for a comfortable life (indoor and outdoor swimming pool with a water park, children's pool, cafe and pool bar, barbecue area, outdoor parking and indoor parking, etc.). d.). 10 five-story buildings located in a fenced area of more than 13 thousand square meters. m., are being built according to an exclusive design project.
