When planning to rent a holiday apartment in Turkey, it is important to understand that in addition to the basic rental cost, you will also have some other minor expenses. What expenses are we talking about and how much will they cost the tenant?

Cleaning the apartment upon departure

This cost item traditionally falls on the shoulders of the tenant. The amount varies depending on the area of the apartment and can range from 40 to 60 Euros. Cleaning is mandatory regardless of how long you have stayed in the apartment.

Public utilities

These expenses also fall on the tenant. Typically, the tenant pays for electricity and water. Tariffs and meter readings are fixed in the contract at the time of check-in. The average monthly amount will be approximately 100 -150 Euros.

The cost of electricity is quite high. To avoid unnecessary expenses, turn off the air conditioners when leaving your home. As a rule, there is no automatic shutdown system in apartments.

Deposit upon check-in

This expense is equal to between 250 and 300 Euros and will be returned to the tenants at the time of eviction, provided that the apartment and the property in it are not damaged. The deposit is refunded in full.

Television and Internet

Television with Russian-language channels and high-speed Internet are provided completely free of charge.

Children's furniture

Baby cots and high chairs are provided free of charge if required. It is extremely important to inform us in advance that you need such furniture; it is provided upon prior reservation.

Who pays the agency commission?

The tenant pays only the rent and expenses described above. The agency commission is paid by the property owner; for the tenant this service is 100% free.
