Fruits in Turkey
The cost of Turkish fruits is very low
For example, prices for cherries and pineapples are 10 times lower than on the Russian market.
You should not think that the price is determined based on the low quality of the product; on the contrary, Turkish fruits and berries are environmentally friendly; the use of harmful fertilizers, pesticides and various growth stimulants is prohibited in the country.
- The cheapest fruits and berries are in Turkish bazaars and private stalls; in supermarkets prices are 40 percent higher. True, goods from the supermarket are stored a little longer than market ones.
- Having bought cherries at the market, you need to eat them within one or two days, the same goes for pears, apples and bananas. Strawberries, peaches and apricots can begin to spoil on the same day, this is due to the naturalness of the product and the ban on the use of preservatives.
- Considering the fact that most hotels in the country operate on an all-inclusive basis, you can try Turkish fruits at the hotel, and completely free of charge. Sometimes tourists are given a unique opportunity to pick a peach or orange directly from a tree that grows on the hotel grounds.
Unlike Florida, fruits grow in Turkey all year round, therefore, no matter what period vacationers visit this country, they will not be left without a fortified treat.
